Synthesis	Work on halogenated benzenes has also demonstrated the versatility of this technique and a variety of fluoro-chloro and -bromo benzenes may be de-brominated and de-chlorinated. Two patents describe removal of chlorine from 2,6-dichloro-3,5- difluoronitrobenzene giving 3,5-difluoroaniline.
