DescriptionLithium dihydrogen phosphate, also known as LDP, is a White crystalline powder with the formula LiH2PO4. It is soluble in water. LiH2PO4 is usually prepared by a stoichiometric reaction of Li2СO3 and 85% orthophosphoric acid[1]. It is often used as a raw material for the preparation of cathode materials for lithium batteries or as phosphate in chemical reactions.

Solubility in waterAt 0°C, the solubility of lithium dihydrogen phosphate in water is about 55.8wt % (126.2 g of LiH2PO4 /100 g of water)[1]. At 22°C, the solubility of lithium dihydrogen phosphate corresponds to ~ 153.8 g of LiH2PO4/100 g of water. At 25°C, it doesn't dissolve in water[2].
