UsesRhodionin has an effect of nourishing and strengthening, clearing away heat and moistening the lungs.
Biological ActivityRhodionin, isolated from the roots of Rhodiola crenulata, is a specific, noncompetitive cytochrome P450 2D6 inhibitor with IC50 of 0.761 μM and Ki of 0.769 μM. It has potent DPPH free radical scavenging activity with IC50 of 19.49 μM.
