Uses	Cerium(IV) sulfate tetrahydrate may be employed in the synthesis of alkyl esters of oxo acids and oxo acids, via reaction with 2-substituted cycloalkanone. It may be used in the preparation of 0.01M cerium(IV) sulfate in 2M sulfuric acid solution.
General Description	Cerium(IV) sulfate tetrahydrate is a hydrated salt of cerium sulfate. Its molecule contains cerium ions coordinated with eight oxygen atoms. Its crystals have been reported to be orthorhombic.
