UsesEvonik Noblyst? P1159 5% Pd is a palladium on alumina catalyst. It has been shown to be effective in the following reactions:
  • hydrogenation of aromatic nitro groups to hydroxylamines
UsesPalladium on barium carbonate (5% Pd/BaCO3) is a palladium catalyst that can be used in the cross-coupling reaction of arenediazonium salts with boronic acid at low catalytic loading. It can also be used as a catalyst in the diastereoselective hydrogenations of the imine for the synthesis of chiral trifluoromethyl benzylamines.
UsesPd/Al2O3 can be used as a catalyst in the enantioselective hydrogenation reaction. It can also be potentially used in the formation of an automotive catalytic converter to improve the air quality of urban environments.
