General Description6-Undecanone acts as solvent during the analysis of lignin pyrolysis in aerosol samples. It is an efficient membrane liquid in supported liquid membrane technique for pretreatment of plasma samples prior to capillary zone electrophoresis.
Safety ProfilePoison by intravenous route. Moderately toxic by ingestion. When heated to decomposition it emits acrid smoke and irritating fumes. See also KETONES.
