RHOIFOLIN Usage And Synthesis
Usesantiinflammatory
UsesRhoifolin is a flavone, a type of flavonoid, a new natural glycoside of apigenin, has been obtained from the green leaves of Rhus succedanea. Rhoifolin has been shown to be an apigenin-7-rhamnoglucosi de. Rhoifolin apparently is identical with the apigenin-7-rhamnoglucoside obtained by the bromination and dehydrobromination of Naringin (N378980).

DefinitionChEBI: Apigenin 7-O-neohesperidoside is an apigenin derivative having an alpha-(1->2)-L-rhamnopyranosyl)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl moiety attached to the 7-hydroxy group. It has a role as a metabolite. It is a neohesperidoside, a dihydroxyflavone and a glycosyloxyflavone. It is functionally related to an apigenin.
