Useszinc molybdate are the most widely used molybdenum flame retardants.
UsesUsed as a corrosion inhibitor in paints, adhesives, primer on metal surfaces, such as steel and aluminum. It may be applied by brush or spray, and is suitable as an after-blast or after-pickling, primer for plating, as an undercoat for alkyd enamels. Also used for dielectric and insulation applications.
UsesAnticorrosion agent, startingmaterial for growing single crystals.
