VANADIUM(III) ACETYLACETONATE Usage And Synthesis
Chemical PropertiesBlue to blue-green crystals. Decomposes before melting.
UsesVanadium(III) acetylacetonate can be used as a soluble catalyst, which acts as a redox mediator that allows effective oxidation of lithium peroxide for lithium-ion batteries. It can also be used as source material for the preparation of vanadium dioxide films by chemical vapor deposition (CVD) technique.
UsesCatalyst.
